Covid-19 Update

We Are Open For Business As UsualWe Are Open For Business As Usual

Our main gates on Golden Hill Lane are open and the temporary entrances that were previously accessible on Braconash and Tomlinson Road are now closed. Customers are no longer required to book a self-select collection slot and can access the site to purchase and collect materials as usual.

While On-Site

While on-site at C & W Berry, we ask all customers to act carefully and continue to remain cautious in view of the latest government guidance. Face coverings must once again be worn in our departments as of Tuesday 30th November and we encourage customers to maintain social distancing measures in crowded or enclosed spaces. To continue to protect our customers and staff, we have positioned screens at customer booking points and hand sanitiser is provided around the premises in all departments.

In addition to screen and hand sanitising stations, we have implemented regular cleaning regimes in all our customer service buildings and have made every effort to minimise staff mixing outside departments. All employees are also undertaking lateral flow testing twice weekly to help minimise the spread of coronavirus and further ensure on-site safety.

We are currently operating a full delivery fleet to ensure demand is met for orders placed via the telephone, website or in person. Due to high demand, there may be slight delays for products such as timber, paving and materials supplied in a grab bag.

Please be assured that we are working very hard to adjust our business to the ever-changing circumstances to ensure that we serve our customers to the best of our ability whilst maintaining everyone’s safety.

In some departments you may still have to queue at peak periods, but we will endeavour to closely monitor this to reduce queuing times where at all possible by increasing staffing levels as and when required. If we find that the pandemic local statistics start to rise again to a substantial level, we will consider regulating the number of customers in our departments to further ensure on-site safety.

As always, our priority is the health and well-being of our staff, customers, and the wider community. We would once again like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding with the situation we currently find ourselves in.

Please continue to stay safe,

C & W Berry Ltd
