Our choice of RCD safety sockets are designed to provide added protection against electric shock and appliance damage as they are suitable for areas where water may be present whilst often used with outdoor tools like hedge trimmers and lawn mowers as they have an increased chance of the cable being severed during operation.

This life-saving device offers easy installation in domestic and commercial environments, generally in a  standard 25mm twin or single socket outlet box and is suitable for surface or flush mounting.

An RCD socket can be installed in place of a standard outlet and will trip out and isolate the circuit being protected when power is lost due to an earth fault and provides added protection when using electric appliances.
