Ball Pein Hammers are manufactured with two heads, a flat face and a rounded face and are commonly referred to as machinist's hammers.
Traditionally used in metalworking they are ideally suited for beating metal to achieve a textured finish with the ability for use for general hammering and striking punches and chisels. The peening face is useful for rounding off edges of metal pins and fasteners, such as rivets whilst the hardened steel head is able to strike squarely with reduced chance of chipping.
