Sledge hammers are most often used in demolition work with drywall or masonry walls. They have a strong metal head and a long handle that allows the user to gather more momentum when swinging for maximum force. Our sledge hammers are supplied by top-quality brands like Roughneck, Bulldog and Draper.

At C&W Berry, our range includes multiple hammers with fibreglass shafts, these handles are designed to absorb vibrations caused when the hammer is used, increasing user comfort. We also have multiple head shapes on offer to cater for varying materials, such as the dome-faced striking point sledge hammer. The dome face allows for a concentrated force when striking materials such as concrete.

Another variation that we stock are short-shaft units that are perfect for a strong striking force whilst remaining portable, easy to transport and compact. Alternatively, if the classic model is needed, we do those, strong wooden handles and a cylindrical metal head.
