A night latch is a security door look that is internally surface mounted with a classic robust design that conforms to the highest British Standards to comply with the requirements of most insurance companies.

Available in a variety of sizes and finishes from leading manufacturers including Yale, Eurospec and Asec to provide more sturdiness when in the locked position, and if the door needs to be kept open then the latch may be locked inside the casing to prevent any accidental lock outs.

Nightlatches are suitable for left and right handed doors and can be deadlocked by the snib button internally whilst providing additional security by acting as an automatic deadlock when fitted to front doors and flat entrances.
